We launched the competition of a life time, giving four strangers the chance to share £25,000 to travel the world with STA Travel’s lead product, the BlueTicket.
AMPLIFICATION
In order to build hype and generate entries, we worked with online communities such as Student Problems to reach millions of students with a promotional video. This, alongside a 92-strong student ambassador team working on and offline gained 40,000 entries in total.
SELECTION AND CONTENT
After a rigorous entry process where students submitted a 2 minute video – a final 4 was selected. We invited the winners for 2 days in London where they met for the first time and booked their trip in the space of 24 hours. This was recorded and made into a 3 part mini-series hosted online for others to follow their story.
THE TRIP
Following a briefing on content creation and brad guidelines, the winners set off for their 10 week trip of a lifetime, reaching South East Asia, Australia, Fiji and Canada, capturing amazing images and videos along the way.
