Accenture Case Study

The Objective
To encourage students to become involved in the E-Cycling initiative on their campus by donating old information technology equipment.
To demonstrate Accenture’s CSR focus.
To increase awareness of and application to Accenture’s graduate positions at 5 core target universities for Accenture’s recruitment.

Overview
Campus Group recruited, trained and managed 5 SBMs to carry out:
Promotional Materials Distribution
PR with the student press
Events

SBMS assisted in all logistics and lead the promotion of an ‘E-Cycling Week’ on their campus where students and university staff were invited to donate their old electrical IT equipment to be recycled by a charity organisation.

Results
1,104 pieces of equipment donated, all promotional materials distributed.
5 PR pieces reached a combined readership of 87,000 students.
Highly Commended for innovation at AGR 2006 Awards.
