Barclays Case Study
The Objective
To encourage students to activate a Student Account or a Student Barclaycard.
Target first year students before they start university.
Overview
Campus Group executed a campaign whereby Barclays leaflets were distributed within the Fresher Mailings at 39 Universities.
Direct mailings from the university are an effective form of reaching the core target audience. They contain university and course information in addition to marketing literature so they are not treated as junk mail. In comparison to mailings from a commercial entity, university mailings receive a high rate of views.
Results
Barclays leaflets inserted into University Fresher Mailings and received by 193,400 first year students.
