Kingsmill Case Study

The Brief
To trial Kingsmill 'Toastie' in key student locations, to raise awareness and to bring alive the creative of the Kingsmill 'King'.

The Strategy
Campus fully trained a team of 20 Student Brand Managers (SBMs) at key UK universities. Each SBM was tasked with holding a sampling event, securing PR in their local student media, negotiating a Kingsmill event at the best student night and ongoing promotional material distribution.

The Result
20,000 door hangers were strategically placed in the largest halls of residence at the selected universities, ‘Kings Cafés’ have taken place on campus, with students dressed as Elvis and 50’s waitresses sampling hot toast to the hungry masses! Elvis dance-offs are taking the student population by storm with students trying their impersonations out on stage in the hope of being crowned the King of dance! The campaign was a great success with the Kingsmill Toastie word spreading like wildfire!
