O2 & Blackberry Case Study

Objectives
To promote Blackberry to students and bring a new audience to the handset.
To promote student tariff of £35/month exclusive to O2 customers with online incentives.
To demonstrate functionality with Blackberry as a tool for keeping in touch and doing work anywhere.

Overview
Campus Group recruited, trained and managed 60 SBMs to carry out activity at 30 universities:
Blackberry handset loans on campus.
PR with the student press.
Promotional distribution and social networking.
Assist with road show support.

Execute 2 simultaneous tours of 2 staff each:
Demonstrate handset functionality.
Offers and giveaways.

Results
300 Blackberry handset loans.
Uplift in online registration and contracts.
Improve Blackberry image among students as a tool, shattering the image of "for businessman only".
