We built the first ever festival hostel. A place where 12 lucky competition winners could have a truly unique festival experience. Also open to the public with a varied programme of events, we ensured that there was something for everybody in order to cement STA Travel as a lifestyle brand.
JOURNEY TO BESTIVAL
So often the bane of the life of the festival goer, we made sure our competition winners didn’t worry about getting there – we arranged a different mode of transport for each winning group, providing train tickets, a camper van and even a private plane.
Not content with just giving guests a bed for the night, we threw them a welcome party, provided goodie bags packed with festival essentials, and even cooked up a breakfast each morning.
We ran a full schedule of workshops and activities each day, open to the public. Kicking off with yoga each morning, we ran Bollywood dance lessons, face painting, fascinator workshops as well as a film screening in our cinema.
With a double decker bus serving as a back drop to our stage, we provided a platform for STA Travel’s own STA Sounds artists to perform throughout the day, followed up with world renowned DJs playing until the early hours.
